TEST actively looks for ways of improving our environmental performance. And it's working. A formal business aspects impacts assessment confirmed that we don't have any significant environmental impacts. During 2009, we aim to achieve ISO 14001:2004 registration.

While much of the work we do has to be done at our clients' sites, we aim to reduce the impacts of our business travel by only sourcing new vehicles with good low carbon emission ratings. In fact, when we needed to replace ageing vehicles in our fleet last year, we opted for the BMW 118d, which was voted World Green Car of the Year at the International Auto Show 2008.

TEST ensures that the business aspects environmental impacts are managed and consistent with other company policies and procedures e.g. Quality and Health & Safety.

This Environmental Policy commits us to:

Comply with all applicable environmental legal and regulatory requirements.

Monitor all business activities and their resource usage to identify opportunities to minimise waste.

The continual improvement of our environmental performance and the prevention of pollution.

This policy provides the framework for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets that can be measured and analysed.

Our policy will be communicated to all employees and suppliers working on our behalf to ensure that they are aware of our environmental policy.

This policy is available to our customers, suppliers and to the general public on request. It will be reviewed annually for continuing suitability during formal management reviews.
